OUR VISION
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he,” remains as true today as it was nearly 3,000 years ago when King Solomon wrote these words. In January 2021, the attorneys of Pinna, Johnston & Burwell, P.A. joined with Anthony Biller, Attorney at Law, to create a new firm called Envisage Law. This new firm was born from our shared visions for the future and our passionate desires to uphold the law for our clients.
Foremost, we share a vision that values of the past should continue to be values of the future. Hard work, integrity, commitment and dedication to duty are as important today as ever. We also share a commitment to defending and standing up for the fundamental truths that made this country great and made a diverse group of people from all over the world into one people. We believe passionately in freedom, equality before the law, and the dignity of every person.
We believe like the founders of this country that a free people should never be ashamed or feel compelled to hide their faith in God. As part of these beliefs, we view the practice of law as a profession that demands our utmost efforts and integrity. The rule of law is not a mere phrase or game to be won; it is the bedrock of western civilization and demands our dedication and respect. We owe the clients we serve our commitment to excellence, and we pledge to deliver.
We share a more practical vision – that even though a professional calling, the private practice of law is also a service. We are at a place where technology should enable law firms to deliver more to our clients, without continually increasing rates. The business model that relies on wholesale price increases every year and that wears $1,000/hour rates as badges of honor is fatally flawed. In nearly every other area of commerce, businesses work hard to deliver more to their clients for less, without compromising quality. We are committed to using our talents and technology to provide value to our clients.
We also share a vision that technology and society are changing at a faster pace than ever before. Entirely new industries are being birthed before our eyes while decades old pillars of commerce collapse in quick succession. These are times of change, and again, the legal industry is not immune or impervious to these changes. We are committed to staying abreast of these changes and to helping redefine our profession. It is our goal to be your trusted business advisor as well as your legal counselor.
