The primary focus of Jeff’s practice is the area of estate planning for high-net worth clients. Jeff’s expert knowledge in complex estate planning techniques allows him to provide clients with a comprehensive approach to their estate planning needs. Jeff applies a “big-picture” view to each client’s particular situation and needs and then utilizes sophisticated estate planning techniques to meet client desires while minimizing tax consequences. A large portion of Jeff’s client’s own businesses as part of their holdings and Jeff’s knowledge of business law and tax allows him to provide expert counsel to clients on matters of business succession and business liability. Jeff also works with clients to resolve personal or business tax disputes at both the federal and state level.
Jeff began his legal career in Colorado where he focused on estate planning, business law and tax for over ten years before joining a “start-up” computer company as its corporate counsel. Upon a relocation to North Carolina Jeff returned to his roots and opened his practice in Holly Springs, North Carolina practicing in the areas of estate planning, business law and tax. Jeff merged his practice with Envisage in 2012.
Jeff earned his undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of California Santa Barbara and his law degree from Southwestern Law School, in Los Angeles, California. Jeff lives in Cary and has three children.
