Regulatory

The past century saw an increasing shift of lawmaking from the legislative to executive branches of government. Federal agencies annually publish tens of thousands of pages of orders, notices, requests for information and proposed and final rulemakings in the Federal Register. The Code of Federal Regulations contains 50 titles with regulations governing a wide array of commercial activity. Similarly, at the state level, agencies regulate our clients. It is simply not enough to keep up with the latest happenings on Capitol Hill, on Jones Street in Raleigh, or in some other state legislature. What happens in administrative agencies matters.

We have experience positioning our clients for success under a variety of regulatory regimes, including regulations issued pursuant to the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). In addition to federal agencies such as FDA and EPA, we also have experience helping our clients navigate complex state regulatory regimes.

We exist to help our clients achieve their visions for the future.
We stand shoulder to shoulder with our clients, helping them to anticipate, avoid and overcome challenges and obstacles to their successes.

A Rich Tradition. A Bright Future.
